The New Bedford LGBTQ Winter Film Series is happy to be back for its third year. As a collaborative effort bringing together ten wonderful organizations that serve the LGBTQ population and the greater South Coast area of Massachusetts. Our mission has and always will be to foster understanding of LGBTQ culture and create network opportunities and support for our LGBTQ residents. Our line up for this year includes, in order: Rocketman, Brother Outsider: The Bayard Rustin Story, Boy Erased, and Signature Move. Each story touches on aspects that affect the LGBTQ community from immigration, to drug addiction, civil rights, intolerance and persecution. Our panel discussions after the movies allow us the opportunity to speak with professionals and citizens that address these issues and more.
