Arts and Clacks: Design Your Own Pride Fan

A storytelling event funded by Mass Humanities’ 50th Anniversary Storytelling Grant initiative.

EVENT OVERVIEW

Pride Worcester presents “Arts and Clacks: Design Your own Pride Fan.” In preparation for the annual Pride Worcester festival on Saturday, September 7, 2024, Pride Worcester and Guardians of Traditions are co-hosting a FREE intergenerational fan-making workshop at Technocopia! We are also partnering with the Rainbow Elders from the Worcester LGBTQ+ Elders Network (WLEN) on this special event. LGBTQ+ seniors will be paired with workshop participants and given guided questions focused on LGBTQ+ history to share their stories with partners and groups. These conversations will then inspire creative messages on each fan. This FREE workshop is open to ages 18+. NOTE: There are 2 available workshop dates and times; feel free to select the session that works best for you!
