Lecture: A History of Plants and People

October 21 @ 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM EDT

Funded by Mass Humanities
Cost: Free

The science of agriculture is approximately 25,000 years old. The development of agriculture has influenced civilization, impacted the environment, and dictated food supplies. A presenter from the Massachusetts Horticultural Society will discuss significant agricultural changes in the last century and look at the future of the science based on the choices we are making today.

We will welcome our speaker in person to the Museum! Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Or, watch from home on Zoom! We’ll take questions from both our in-person and at-home audiences! Register at oldcolonyhistorymuseum.eventbrite.com to access the program.
