Zoom Program: The Underground Railroad in Andover

November 15 @ 6:30 PM EST

Cost: Free

We’ll look at what is known about the Underground Railroad in Andover, including local legends about specific Andover homes. We’ll address a central question: how do we know what we know about this secret, illegal activity? You’ll come away with an understanding about how residents and local church communities addressed the legacy of slavery in Andover during the 19th century. Time for questions and discussion will follow the presentation.

There is no charge for this virtual program. The Zoom link will be sent with your program registration confirmation.

This program is sponsored by the Mass Humanities Bridge Street Fund.
