Series of public programs examining the nature of leadership and political franchise in Plymouth Colony and the Wampanoag Homeland in the 17th century, the 30-year Mashpee Wampanoag Federal recognition process, and current affairs in the Wampanoag Homeland since achieving sovereignty. Programming will include thematic tours and talks by museum staff, Native community forums, performances of theatre pieces and an exhibit.
