Community conversations and other interactive programming around the production of a historical pageant commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation. The pageant will be focused on the Haitian Revolution (a defining moment in the history of slavery in the Americas) and the larger-than-life figure of Haitian liberator Toussaint Louverture.
