In late June, Program Officer Katherine Stevens arrived at the Marblehead Museum at 4:45 am, along with a small group of historians, residents, and artists. Their reason for waking up so early? Talking with Levan Reid of CBS News Boston.
The Marblehead Museum’s new exhibit, “Resistance & Resilience: Slavery & Freedom in Marblehead”, was funded in part by a “Promises of the Revolution” grant from Mass Humanities. In the segment below, Levan Reid interviews Yamanda Wright, PhD, the artist who created the visuals for the new exhibit.
