OVERVIEW
"The Final Letter" is a docudrama based on the letters of Reed Peggram written to his family while he was a Harvard doctoral student in Paris when World War II erupted. By this time, the gay Black Bostonian was in love and attempted to remain in Europe and weather the war before he and his lover were caught and imprisoned in an Italian concentration camp.
