On June 11, we were proud to host our first Story Summit event in New Bedford at the New Bedford Whaling Museum.
“All Hands On Deck” focused on the intersection of storytelling and climate change. Mass Humanities honored the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe with the first Massachusetts Storyteller Award, recognizing the Tribe’s legacies of storytelling and land stewardship.
If you missed this gathering, be sure to keep an eye out for updates about our second Story Summit happening fall 2025.
Thank you to Vineyard Offshore for sponsoring our event.
