In early May Mass Humanities hosted a reunion for current and former board members in the heart of Cambridge, at the home of former board member Laura Roberts. Following the gathering, the group attended an insightful talk by renowned historian Nell Irvin Painter at the Harvard Book Store.
Thank you to all of our leaders, past and present, for sharing your collective wisdom and dedication in service of Mass Humanities. It has defined our organization’s vision and mission for 50 years (and counting). Here’s to the next 50.

Do you believe Massachusetts needs new voices and fresh narratives to meet our challenges? Do you believe the people of Massachusetts can thrive only when the humanities are accessible to all residents?

If so, consider joining our board or nominating a fellow resident to help us reinvigorate our democracy by telling, sharing, and reimagining the diverse stories and ideas of the Commonwealth.
