We hope you can join us for The Future of Storytelling: A Community Gathering on Thursday, October 24th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the MassArt Media & Design Center in Boston.
the future of storytelling: A community gathering
Mass Humanities celebrates our 50th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, we’re hosting a reception for grantees, board members, staff, community partners, and local legislators to celebrate the cultural sector and make new connections in Boston.
We hope you can join us for an evening of performances, food and drink, and a mutual appreciation for the power of storytelling.
We’re thrilled to feature two organizations that have recently received Expand Massachusetts Stories grants. A Trike Called Funk, a 2024 recipient, will host an interactive graffiti activity and participatory dance experience throughout the evening. The Boston Chinatown Heritage Center, a 2023 recipient, will share its experience putting together “Resiliency in Chinatown,” an oral history of Boston Chinatown residents. We will also screen a brief behind-the-scenes film about the making of the project.
