We hope you can join us for All Hands On Deck: A Climate Story Summit on Wednesday, June 11, at 5:00 pm at the New Bedford Whaling Museum.

Celebrating together
Inspiring action
shaping the future of storytelling

Join us for a special evening as we present the inaugural Massachusetts Storyteller Award, which honors an outstanding individual or group that is using the humanities and the power of the narrative to tackle the commonwealth’s most pressing challenges.

This year’s awardee is the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, represented by David Weeden, whose work weaves together storytelling and the urgency of climate action. We will also feature performances from our grantees and hear from a nationally renowned leader in the field who will engage the audience in a thought provoking conversation centered around the theme of climate storytelling.

More information about the Story Summit will be shared leading up to the event.
