On October 17, 2024, Philanthropy Massachusetts hosted an arts leadership event in Worcester. Emerging arts and culture leaders were invited to gather with representatives from funding organizations to share knowledge and imagine new futures for the arts and culture landscape in Massachusetts.
Following an interactive timeline and mapping exercise, participants discussed opportunities and challenges facing nonprofit organizations during a panel session. Panelists included:
- Brian Boyles, Executive Director of Mass Humanities
- Kayla Coleman, Executive Director of the New England Museum Association
- Emily Ruddock, Executive Director of MASSCreative
- Harold Steward, Executive Director of New England Foundation for the Arts
- Michael Bobbitt, Executive Director of Mass Cultural Council
