As part of its Museum on Main Street programming for “Voices and Votes: Democracy in America,” Mohawk Trail Regional School is hosting a lecture titled “The Most Fundamental Right? Why the Right to Vote Is So Contested in American Politics,” in partnership with the Charlemont Forum. Jesse Rhodes, professor of political science at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, will discuss the causes and consequences of our divided electorate. The event will be streamed on YouTube by Falls Cable TV and will include questions and comments from the audience. General Hours: Museum on Main Street: “Voices and Votes” will be open in the library at Mohawk Trail Regional School in Buckland on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays from 11 am to 4 pm and on Thursdays from 3 to 8 pm.
