On October 24, Mass Humanities hosted “The Future of Storytelling” workshop in Boston at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Grantees were encouraged to bring in meaningful objects and share their significance with the group, focusing on the influence of these items on their work in the culture and nonprofit sectors.

Here, multidisciplinary artist Lani Asunción shares how the kulintang gong, a pre-colonial instrument, connects her to her Filipino ancestry.
